With his playful set-ups and surreal interventions Gert Robijns draws the viewer’s attention to aspects of perception and intuition. In recent works the artist plays with concepts such as weight, balance, movement and mobility. He draws inspiration from situations in everyday life and aims to make visitors question their immediate environment. Museum collections owning works by Robijns include the Antwerp M HKA and the Ghent S.M.A.K.
